The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Labor Workforce Management Director to oversee labor budgeting, cost control, and payroll management across our skilled nursing facilities. This role is responsible for managing labor expenses, including premium labor dollars and PPDs, while ensuring compliance with staffing requirements and optimizing workforce efficiency. The Director will work closely with the finance and HR teams to manage labor costs, oversee time and attendance through the Smart Links system, and ensure accurate payroll processing through the Viventium system.
Remote with travel to the Facility in Pennsylvania
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the labor budget, including tracking and controlling labor costs, premium labor dollars, and PPDs (per patient day).
- Supervise and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll using the Viventium system.
- Monitor and analyze labor costs, providing regular reports and insights to leadership for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee the time and attendance system (Smart Links), ensuring accurate tracking of employee hours, attendance, and compliance with company policies.
- Manage labor dollars across multiple facilities, ensuring alignment with budget goals and operational needs.
- Coordinate with department heads to forecast staffing requirements and adjust schedules to meet patient care needs while controlling costs.
- Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure labor metrics are aligned with the overall organizational budget and goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize workforce utilization and reduce unnecessary labor expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations related to payroll, labor practices, and employee compensation.
- Provide leadership and training to staff on payroll systems, timekeeping practices, and labor cost management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor management, workforce planning, or payroll management, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems (Viventium) and time and attendance software (Smart Links).
- Proven experience in labor budgeting, cost analysis, and workforce optimization.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, wage and hour compliance, and payroll regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Service Fee:
Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

US Hours EST - 8am to 5pm
